Workshops - JURASSIC EAST COAST – Two day group

< Back to workshops

Dorset’s east Jurassic coast is one of the most scenic and spectacular coastlines in the country, boasting classic photographic locations like Kimmeridge Bay, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Old Harry Rocks.

This is a residential landscape photography workshop, spread over two weekdays on Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic coast. It has been carefully planned for a maximum of just 4 participants, creating enough time and space for each person to receive adequate personal attention and guidance. We will be based in quality B&B accommodation near Corfe Castle in the heart of the Purbecks, which means we are ideally placed to explore the best Jurassic locations each day and especially at sunrise and sunset. The workshop is planned with a varied programme and begins on day one with a landscape photography briefing and finishes after the sunset shoot on the evening of day two. The workshop includes one night’s en suite accommodation and breakfast. All levels of photographer are welcome. Over the two days Tony will be available to give helpful advice on landscape photography techniques including camera settings, filtration and compositional tips. He has lived in Dorset all of his life and has an unrivalled knowledge of the county’s best places to photograph as well as the best times to be shooting them.

The prices are based on sole occupancy, although the rooms available may be double rooms. Non-participating partners are welcome to stay too (subject to room availability) – supplements will apply. We will visit a local public house or restaurant for our evening meal on the first day. Transport is provided throughout the workshop so all you need to do is bring your camera gear and enjoy yourself. Please note, in order to keep costs down, lunches and evening meals are not included in the cost of the workshop – so you get to choose how much you spend on your own meals. Bed & breakfast en suite accommodation and transport are all included. Small group size – max 4.
